ABOUT ME

Lalah de Dios: Yoga, like life, is a never-ending journey. There’s always more to explore & learn. Every journey starts w/ a first step; I took mine 5 years ago on a surf trip in Daet, Camarines Norte. My friend was practice-teaching at that time for a yoga teacher training course. The rush I received from that practice was intoxicating. I was surfing not only the waves but the clouds. I couldn't describe it. I just knew it was incredible. I kept attending classes until it felt right one day: share the dhamma by becoming a yoga teacher. It was in May 2010 when I completed the Greenpath-Boracay Yoga Teacher Training with Clayton Horton & Mo-ching Yip. W/ the passing year, w/ each new student & w/ every new life event, I gain a deeper understanding of yoga’s essence. I still struggle to create language to match the profound energetic shifts I experience when I practice. The insights Ive received about myself from the ebb & flow have been transformational. The journey isnt easy; Im still struggling w/ the balance. But yoga has taught me that life isnt about attainment rather it's an unending process of self-discovery, acceptance & transformation. This is the journey I continue to follow today.
